Silico Launches Hosted Version of Quality Management Software
Silico Corporation, a leading provider of BPM consulting and software technology services, has recently launched a hosted version of its Quality Management Software (QMS). The Silico QMS allows users to automate business and human workflow processes to create software solutions that meet their needs.
With the hosted version, users can use the software over the Internet for a rental fee, which greatly simplifies the startup and maintenance process. Moreover, the hosted version also eliminates the need of maintaining a network, server, backups and other technical requirements. The only requirement is an Internet connection.
“The Silico QMS Instant Application Platform provides a robust technology that allows customers to modify web forms, create workflows, and generate reports without traditional programming,” stated John M. Cachat, president and CEO of Silico, in a press release. “In addition, the platform is not limited to just QMS and can be used for any business process. Any spreadsheet or Access database can be easily replaced with a flexible, secured, multi-user tool.”
Silico helps organizations improve by focusing on people, processes, and then technology—in that order. The company’s business process management (BPM) services include state of the art technology for rapid solution development. Recently, the company launched new software to aid compliance with AS9100 Revision C. Any supplier looking to obtain quality management certification, in order to do business in the aerospace and defense industries, will be required to meet the new AS9100C requirements. In addition, any company currently doing business with the aerospace and defense industry that is certified to AS9100, will have to recertify to AS9100C.
The company demonstrated the new technology platform on January 11, 2011 during a live webinar. Soon after the webinar, John Cachat, president and CEO of Silico, received several calls from large and small companies asking for software to help manage these requirements.
