July 21, 2011

A leading software engineering and IT outsourcing provider with development centers spread over Central and Eastern Europe, EPAM Systems, Inc., has been named as a salesforce.com partner. EPAM, as salesforce.com’s premier partner, will consequently have access to the latest, state-of-the-art functional and technical resources existing to maintain the increasingly popular cloud-based environment.

To make the most of its new found premier partner status, EPAM has set up the EPAM Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), thus formalizing the company’s increasing proficiency in Salesforce implementations, and providing its clientele with enhanced ways to gain benefit of the increasing width and depth of capabilities offered by salesforce.com’s enterprise cloud computing platform, Force.com. The newly created Center of Excellence will have its focus on implementation, application development and integration services for Force.com as well as other salesforce.com solutions. With its headquarters in the United States, EPAM employs over 6,000 expert professionals and offers services to its worldwide clients using a global delivery model. This is done through its client facing and delivery operations in North America, Switzerland, Sweden, UK, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

In a release, vice president of Travel, Hospitality and Consumer Services Solutions at EPAM, Elaina Shekhter, said, “We are excited by the capabilities the Salesforce ecosystem and Force.com bring to our clients - helping them more closely align technical solutions with business goals. For us, cloud computing isn’t just about extending the value of an IT infrastructure, it’s about delivering more agility, more functionality and ultimately more value to our global customer base. By combining the values of Force.com with the values of EPAM’s services and experience, we are able to realize that ideal.”

Isaak Karaev, SVP of EPAM’s Business Information and Media Group, said that “We are proud of our partnership with salesforce.com. With the formation of this new CoE, we hope to cement EPAM’s role as a premier partner for all aspects of Salesforce implementations.”

The company’s core competencies comprise of complex software product engineering for many leading global software and technology vendors, as also development, testing, maintenance, and support of mission critical business applications.
