ePrize Acquires CRM Division of Apollo Data Technologies
ePrize, a leading provider of interactive promotions, has acquired the customer relationship management (CRM) division of Apollo Data Technologies, a Chicago-based predictive analytics firm. With the acquisition, ePrize will now be able to expand even further into social and community management, as well as mobile and location-based solutions.
"Consumer insights and data analytics are now essential aspects of running multi-channel campaigns. Marketers need a deep understanding of how consumers are interacting with campaigns that are simultaneously appearing in mobile apps on smartphones and tablets as well as in Facebook (News - Alert) apps and on traditional websites," said Matt Wise, ePrize CEO, in a statement. "Apollo's team brings decades of experience and outstanding predictive analytic application development to our clients."
The officials from ePrize say that now the company’s in-depth analyses of campaign executions, as well as deeper consumer behavior insights, will allow ePrize to advise brands on new methods to interact with consumers based on data-driven decisions.

The new ePrize analytics division will be based in Seattle and led by Kaiser Yang, senior vice president and managing director for ePrize.
In related news, ePrize was recently honored by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA) with a 2011 Communicator Award, recognizing the company's creative excellence in the Interactive category. In its 17th year, the awards receive more than 9,000 entries annually in six categories - audio, integrated campaigns, interactive, marketing effectiveness, print and video. As a recipient in the interactive discipline, ePrize received an Award of Excellence, the awards' highest level of distinction.
