Major Enhancements and Additions Made to Training JumpStart Portal

July 05, 2011

Training JumpStart LLC, Ltd. , lived up to its name by ensuring that its users had a headstart over others with major enhancements to the Training JumpStart Portal.

The newly released hosted software-as-a-service training offering, version 11.2, is expected to boost commercialization and online on-demand delivery for small and medium training organizations serving global enterprises. Training offerings range from individual courses purchased to B2B online sales of learning paths.

Officials of the company said that B2B as well as B2C commerce will receive a fillip with client enterprises being able to manage enrollments and track learner usage and performance. Final tests and certificates are in accordance with the training track or the course.

In a press release,  Adam Rin, co-founder and product architect of the Training JumpStart e-learning system said, in a statement, "With the ability to implement fine-grained access control suiting our clients' business models and to accommodate variants of both B2B and B2C e-commerce modes, Training JumpStart powers our clients' successful training businesses." Per veteran client SiriusDecisions, "The product breadth and capabilities are impressive. Customer service is impeccable."

By leveraging the Training Jumpstart Customizable Vocabulary facility, customized training related vocabulary and phrasing can be used during user interaction. Streaming of training videos that are available over a secure network and PDF viewers that protect sensitive property are additional features in the latest version.

Addition of new features to the Training JumpStart Portal will enable portal owners to have access to extensive reporting regarding portal usage while instructors can view participant responses to pre-tests or surveys.

Also, managers can run reports that track usage and performance and learners can participate in surveys, evaluations and course ratings and participate in discussion forums.

Grace Kraaijvander, Manager of Learning Services at SiriusDecisions said, "We greatly value Training JumpStart's secure e-learning system that gives us the ability to manage enrollments and track learner usage and performance, which we can view per client enterprise.”
