Velti Announces Opening of New Technology Sales Hub in Istanbul, Turkey

Velti (News - Alert), a provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology, has announced the opening of a new technology and sales hub in Istanbul, Turkey.

The company’s new technology and sales hub will effectively bridge the gap between Velti's mGage platform and its expanding customer base across the Middle East. The alliance between Avea, a leading operator in Turkey and Velti’s business partner in the region, will help in further expanding Velti’s business prospects. As a result of setting up of this office, Velti has added to its global portfolio of business presence. The company already has offices in London, Paris, Dusseldorf, Athens, Sofia and Moscow.

Velti’s business presence in Turkey has been supported through its partnership with Gantek, a technology and solutions provider since 2009. With the setting up of the new support hub in the region, Velti will now be able to address the expanding requirements of regional mobile operators and brands, create awareness of its brand name, and strengthen its customer base. The company will additionally benefit from increased revenue, with the introduction of technologically advanced mobile marketing and advertising programs.

The technology and sales hub began operations at the beginning of June. Beginning with a skeleton staff, Velti will hire new employees in planned stages through the year. With the gold sponsorship of "Istanbul Mobile Marketing Talks," organized by the global Mobile Marketing Association (News - Alert), Velti will make its business presence in the Turkish market official.  The event is scheduled to take place on June 28, at the Esma Sultan Mansion.
