TMCnet Call Center Software Week in Review
This past week TMC’s (News - Alert) Deepika Mala reported that Campaigner, an email marketing service provider that empowers companies to better attract and retain business through creative email marketing campaigns, unveiled a new marketing tool, Smart Email Builder.
Smart Email Builder provides a fail-safe way to develop professional-looking email promotions and newsletters, and thus helps small businesses to increase sales and raise visibility.
By removing the need for a designer or design experience from the equation, Smart Email Builder takes the effort out of building a professionally styled email newsletter.
One simply needs to select from among the 700 professionally designed templates, themes and color schemes and the newsletter can automatically be built based on user preferences. As soon as the design is in place, the new marketing tool formats text on the computer screen as content is entered.
Also this week, Real Software, a provider of cross-platform software development tools for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and the Web, announced the latest version of Real Studio. The new Real Studio 2011 Release 2 contains 42 new features and 184 improvements.
With this new version from Real Software, developers will have the ability to create scalable and responsive cross-platform applications without hassles, while improving development and application performance.
The new version has HTML5 features like WebSockets, GeoLocation and WebMoviePlayer as well as JSON support. Real Studio 2011 Release 2 gives developers the essential tools to communicate with online services like Google (News
- Alert), Flickr and Twitter, company officials said.
“We are continuing to improve our Web framework with HTML5 GeoLocation and video features, giving Real Studio developers more capabilities for richer, and increasingly dynamic, solutions,” said Geoff Perlman, founder and CEO of Real Software.
And this week TMC’s Rajani Baburajan wrote that Sage North America, a global supplier of business management software and services, announced the launch of SageCRM v7.1 for small and midsize businesses anchored by new iPhone (News - Alert), social media and Sage E-Marketing integrations.
The company will be making SageCRM v7.1 available for on-premises or hosted deployments, and as a component of Sage ERP Accpac suites. SageCRM v7.1 will be available for Sage ERP MAS suites this fall.
“SageCRM gives businesses the freedom to choose how, where and when they manage critical customer information,” said Dan Wilzoch, senior vice president and general manager, Sage CRM Solutions.
“Secure access on desktops, mobile devices and the web, along with extended Sage Connected Services functionality, help users work with data in whichever manner best suits them,” Wilzoch added.
More than 10,000 organizations worldwide leverage SageCRM for on-premises and hosted CRM deployments to manage critical sales, marketing and customer service activities.
Also this past week, TMC’s Carolyn J. Dawson wrote that the Clearvale offering for Social Customer Relationship Management or CRM is now available. An announcement in this regard was made by BroadVision, Inc. at the Enterprise 2.0 show. BroadVision is a top company in cloud-based social business tools.
Unlike traditional CRM which is focused on tightly controlling customer interactions, all customer engagement channels are integrated by Social CRM. Better communication between customers, customer service, and other company employees is therefore ensured.
Francois Gossieaux, author, blogger and marketing expert said, “Social CRM is not about managing customer relationships in social media, nor is it about adding social data to the CRM data store – Social CRM is all about developing and managing relationships with customer tribes and allowing them to communicate with one another better.”
