Information Builders Honors its Customers

Information Builders (News - Alert) has announced the winners of its Awards of Distinction for original and innovative use of BI and integration technology.

Business Integration software gives customers the ability to integrate the diverse data and information sources both within and outside their enterprise into a single coherent framework. An integrated information infrastructure can then be shared by mission-critical applications such as CRM, executive information portals, and automated supply chain systems.

In manufacturing, government, law enforcement, banking, and logistics, the honored customers are deploying BI and integration solutions. To improve organizational effectiveness and better serve society, their work exemplifies the Summit theme of expanding the scope of information technology. This year's five-day conference also showcases new products, technical breakthroughs, and partner solutions, and features a variety of customer-led sessions addressing relevant business issues.

"Their innovations represent best practices for BI and integration technology. We can all learn from their successes and accomplishments.”

One of the customers honored include Dollar General, which selected WebFOCUS to put valuable analytic capabilities into the hands of their employees. To easily access, review and analyze critical corporate information, employees use WebFOCUS throughout the enterprise. Another customers is Scotiabank, which standardized on integration technology from iWay Software to streamline integration among delivery channels and across product and service lines. iWay Software uses a single, integrated set of next-generation graphical design tools to assemble powerful real-time components for enterprise-class business-to-business (B2B), business process automation (BPA), or enterprise information management (EIM) integration scenarios, the company stated.

In November 2010 Houston Community College (HCC) selected Information Builders to develop an institutional dashboard. Information Builders claimed that the company has created this dashboard in only two months. The WebFOCUS Business Intelligence Dashboard integrates the reporting environment into one user-friendly interface. Each user can personalize their portal by deciding what reports they see and how they see them.
