Altico Advisors Gain Microsoft Partner Network Gold and Silver Competencies

Massachusetts based software solutions provider Altico Advisors achieved Microsoft (News - Alert) Partner Network Gold Competency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and a Silver Competency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

“The credit for achieving dual competencies goes to our team of talented, skilled, and dedicated professionals, who stepped up to the plate and passed all of the exams necessary for this honor,” Mike Kean, president of Altico said in a press release.

This is evident in the fact that Altico's client satisfaction rating, for the most recent period surveyed, ranked in the highest possible percentile and was significantly above the worldwide partner average,” Kean added.  

As a Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, Altico has been specializing in Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Business Intelligence, and Integration Services.

With the recent launch of the new Microsoft Partner Network (MPN), partners can now earn Gold and Silver Competency accreditations in specific areas of expertise. A Microsoft gold or silver competency is aimed at helping companies to set themselves apart from the competition by demonstrating a specific, proven skill set to their customers. Because Microsoft competencies are aligned with how customers actually buy, customers can easily identify such company’s capabilities and expertise. Attaining competencies makes one eligible for valuable benefits that are related to the stages of their business life cycle.

Previously, the Gold Certified Partner status reflected an overall capability whereas the new approach enables Microsoft partners to more clearly differentiate their business capabilities and areas of specialization.

Also, as indicated, the criteria for the new program are much more stringent and partners who meet the requirements are those who have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment within specific business solutions areas.

The Gold Enterprise Resource Planning competency is believed to distinguish Altico Advisors as being best in class for deploying Microsoft Dynamics GP financial and supply chain solutions. The Silver Customer Relationship Management competency distinguishes Altico Advisors as an elite partner deploying integrated CRM systems for sales, marketing and service.

Recently, Altico Advisors launched a Microsoft Dynamics User Group on LinkedIn (News - Alert) where Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and CRM users can interface, share information, and exchange ideas. The User Group is open by invitation or by request.
