Embedded Analytics Redefined by GoodData

The old order of business analysis is about to give way to a new order, as collaborative analytics comes of age. Maybe it has not yet reached the mainstream, but there is no doubt that it has emerged. GoodData has set the ball rolling as it now enables companies to collaborate around the data that drives businesses through its powerful on-demand service, by announcing its Powered by GoodData program.

The announcement of this program signals the beginning of a new era in collaborative analytics. The Cloud BI Platform provides dashboards pre- populated with data. Customers get BI without the BS, and SaaS providers get to offer free and paid analytics products to their customers. The massive scalability of cloud computing is combined with the reach of Web 2.0 to deliver a new generation of collaborative analytics. 

"At Brightidea, we are constantly collecting data on the vital signs of our customers innovation processes," said Matt Greeley, founder and CEO of Brightidea, adding that GoodData unlocked the value of that information with live dashboards, providing a real-time view of the innovation pipeline. Brightidea is one of the companies that is powered by GoodData.

Zendesk, which helps desk managers with analytics to better measure trends in ticket volume, backlog, and support performance, was also lauded by Mikkel Svane, founder and CEO of Zendesk.

In a related news release, GoodData announced that Loopt, a location-based social application, is using GoodData to deliver customer insights on Loopt (News - Alert) mobile rewards campaigns. Loopt’s brand and retail partners can now track the customer loyalty and engagement gained from Loopt with pre-built reports and dashboards tracking rewards and redemption.
