Global Partnership Deal Inked by TIBCO, Huawei

TIBCO Software Inc. has signed a global partnership agreement with Huawei (News - Alert) Technologies Co. Ltd., a major player in providing next generation telecommunications networks, to integrate its infrastructure software with Huawei's Business Support System (BSS) solution.

Officials with TIBCO Software said that the agreement aims to expand the two companies' current thriving customer ecosystems in telecommunications markets globally, and to help improve the reliability and quality of communications for local subscribers.

Company officials said that the powerful combination of Huawei's and TIBCO's technologies will create a unified, customer-centric solution that addresses operators' challenges in network convergence and transformation.

The collaboration, company officials said, will bring together Huawei's global reach and TIBCO's long-history and in-depth understanding of rules-driven, process-based order fulfillment.

The newly combined technology platform will offer communications service providers with-real-time monitoring across all systems; a single view of every subscriber; multiple-channel customer interaction; order capture and fulfillment and service request charging and invoicing among other things.

'This partnership agreement with a leader like Huawei represents a vast opportunity for TIBCO to extend its presence in global markets,' said Murat Sonmez, executive vice president, global field operations, TIBCO, in a statement.

"Together we can help ensure telecom operators stay relevant and new services are dynamically delivered to hundreds of millions of subscribers reliably,' said Sonmez.

TIBCO Software provides enterprise software that helps companies achieve service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management (BPM) success.

With over 2,500 customers, TIBCO says that it has given organizations around the world better awareness and agility -- what TIBCO calls The Power of Now.

Recently TIBCO Software announced that Cortal Consors, one of the leading direct banks for private investing and online trading in Europe, uses the TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform to collate, analyze, and meaningfully visualize customer and market data. 

As a result, Cortal Consors has been able to gain access to new markets and identify trends with unprecedented speed and flexibility.

Through its highly interactive and visual analysis platform that can integrate information from across various specialized customer database systems, TIBCO Spotfire has become an important component within Cortal Consors' "Circle of Intelligence" - a business intelligence (BI) framework of technology solutions that supports decision making.
