Aurora Community Services Launches New Call Center

Aurora Community Services, the Aurora umbrella company headquartered in Menomonie, Wis., and a group focused in providing high quality community based services to families and individuals, reportedly announced the opening of an innovative new Call Center in Eau Claire, Wis.
 
This around-the-clock Call Center, which was slated to open today, is said to be staffed by trained mental health personnel who will provide telephonic support and problem resolution services to area residents, businesses, and government organizations.
 
The call center will support individuals with mental health concerns, will offer wrap around supports to individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries or physical disabilities living independently in the community, will provide employee assistance services for businesses, provide outbound wellness check in calls to seniors, and crisis intervention services for law enforcement and county agencies.
 
'We are very excited about the opening of our Call Center,' Holly Hakes, executive director, at Aurora, said.
 
Hakes also said that recent cuts in state funding for services to persons with disabilities and rising insurance costs have forced providers to do more with less. According to Hakes, Aurora has stepped up to the plate by providing an innovative new way of delivering vital services.
 
“Our Call Center is not only cost effective but also provides a whole new level of support to our customers,' Hakes said.
 
Launched in 1986, Aurora services has been reaching people through Aurora Residential Alternatives, Aurora Community Health, Aurora Community Counseling, Aurora Vocational Services and Aurora Integrated Management. These services have been aimed at helping aging seniors and vulnerable adults receive high level of professional care and support.
