Rok Deploys ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization Suite

ClickSoftware (News - Alert) Technologies Ltd., a provider of workforce management and service optimization solutions, reportedly announced that its ServiceOptimization Suite has been selected by Rok - for optimized mobile workforce management.
Rok is a provider of building, repairs and refurbishment, and maintenance services. The company is intending to become the Nation's Local Builder - by operating from a network of offices in major towns spread across the United Kingdom.
ClickSoftware’s ServiceOptimization suite would be supporting Rok's business model as well as strategy. As a result, Rok can optimize its building and maintenance services sector. This in turn will result in improved customer service, cost reduction and enhanced workforce productivity, said officials with ClickSoftware.
Initially, Rok would be leveraging ClickSoftware's workforce management suite, in order to implement repair and maintenance work for the insurance sector, the general public, commercial property owners and housing associations. With the help of the software, Rok will be capable of getting the things done, such as technicians arrive on time, with the right skills and materials to get the job done quickly.
In addition, ClickSoftware with the help of its software will address a number of the perceived failings of the building industry by making sure that technicians at Rok can act quickly to requested appointments and give more accurate arrival times.
According to company officials, ClickSoftware will be assisting 1,500 of Rok’s technicians. The software will also enhance relationships with the end customers by enabling it to deliver enhanced customer service.
Rok will be leveraging ClickSoftware’s ClickSchedule, ClickMobile, ClickLocate, ClickAnalyze, ClickContact and Street Level Routing. With the help of all these software from ClickSoftware, Rok will manage a full range of jobs, from tasks involving just one technician and lasting a couple of hours to more complex projects with multiple stages, involving a number of technicians and lasting a few days.
ClickSoftware’s ClickSchedule will automatically optimize the arrival of the right technician in the right sequence to get the job done in line with Rok's Service Level Agreement commitments. The ClickMobile will provide all the required project information to the technicians to their handheld devices. The ClickLocate will provide a real-time, holistic view of the technicians' locations. The Street Level Routing will show the fastest path for quick commutation.
All the field information will be passed to ClickAnalyze, a business intelligence tool that will provide information on Rok's status and where improvements could be made.
Furthermore, ClickSoftware will also facilitate Rok to provide a better working environment for its employees, supporting health and safety procedures as well as real-time visibility of lone workers.
