ECtel Completes All-Cash Merger Transaction with cVidya Networks

ECtel Ltd., a provider of integrated revenue management solutions for communications service providers, has completed the sale of the company to cVidya Networks (News - Alert) Inc. by way of a merger.
The merger agreement was approved by holders of approximately 99.7 percent out of over 70 percent of ECtel's outstanding shares that were voted at an extraordinary general meeting held on Dec. 11, 2009.
cVidya Networks is a major player in telecom revenue management, risk management, and dealer management solutions.
Based on highly-advanced revenue assurance technologies, full compliance with industry standards, and market proven methodologies, cVidya`s MoneyMap platform has already helped to reduce costs and reclaim hundreds of millions of dollars in lost revenues for fixed, mobile and triple-play communication service providers.
Back in November cVidya Networks had announced that 1&1 Internet, one of the world’s largest Web host by known servers and a leading ISP in Germany, has deployed cVidya’s revenue assurance product for partner invoice reconciliation.
The software will enable 1&1 to more efficiently identify and manage disputable charges in inter-carrier invoices between their own organization and network and infrastructure owners.
cVidya’s Partner Invoice Reconciliation solution automatically recalculates invoices and verifies accuracy of inter-carrier payments for third party outsourced services such as leased lines and next generation infrastructures.
This results in a major decrease in expenses for DSL access. By identifying discrepancies, the service provider is able to negotiate, prove and reclaim erroneous payments and bills.
In July, cVidya had announced the launch of EZTrust, a system which has been developed to manage contractual disputes between network operators and service providers.
It is designed to improve operational efficiencies by automatically verifying and correlating invoices and managing billing queries and disputes against services delivered.
The EZTrust solution provides a platform for automated dispute management and reconciliation processes. For service providers, EZTrust helps to manage their business relations with network operators more effectively by automating invoice reconciliation and accelerating the process of dispute settlement management.
For network operators, EZTrust, helps to effectively manage and resolve incoming disputes from business partners, ensuring timely responses to billing queries. It also helps to guarantee that operators can more effectively meet SLAs and secure their cash flow.
