Xen Optimization Group, a consulting firm offering professional services mainly in performance management and the capacity planning area, has reportedly joined Neptuny (News - Alert) Business Partner Program.

 

Neptuny provides IT Performance Optimization and IT Resource Planning solutions, which are based on both proprietary and third-party products and on best-in-class consulting services.

 

The Neptuny Business Partner program is designed to support partners in reselling its solutions and providing their consulting and support services on Caplan, the capacity planning solution that allows customers to safely optimize, rationalize and consolidate their data-centers.

 

Steve Joyce, CTO at Xen Optimization Group, said that the company decided to join the Neptuny Business Partner Program because there was an increasing need for software tools to accelerate the move to virtualization through implementation of proactive capacity planning and performance optimization.

 

As a member of the Neptuny Business Partner Program, Xen will benefit from the recognition Neptuny has received as a cool vendor by analysts such as Gartner (News - Alert) and the renewed focus on tools that help decrease costs in enterprises seeking efficiencies in the midst of the global financial crisis, Joyce added.

The Neptuny Business Partner program will enable Neptuny partners to share the business opportunities around Caplan, which is adopted by major companies in several industries such as Telco, finance, energy, retail, travel among others.
