Five Fortune 500 Companies Select PeopleCube's Resource Scheduler
August 31, 2009
According to PeopleCube, five global Fortune 500 corporations have selected its service as their workplace management software vendor.
The companies in five very different industry segments all recognized that they could benefit from PeopleCube’s Resource Scheduler and associated solutions and services, according to John Anderson, CEO of PeopleCube.
“Savvy enterprises know they can reduce real-estate and energy costs with PeopleCube’s on-demand alternative workspace, resource, and facility management software solutions,” said Anderson.
Anderson said that recently five major corporations independently evaluated PeopleCube’s technology and selected the company’s products because of their ground-breaking capabilities in workspace management and workplace business intelligence.
Officials said that these leaders of their respective industry segments are leveraging the company’s technology to manage alternative workspace, gain a greater understanding of their operations through workplace business intelligence, and facilitate their employees’ efficient and cost-effective use of shared workspace.
“It’s an honor to have our innovative, cost-saving solutions validated by these stellar organizations,” he said.
PeopleCube provides intelligent on-demand workplace, energy, and resource management solutions that help customers run environmentally friendly, cost-effective operations.
Recently PeopleCube had announced that Bentley University has chosen the Resource Scheduler intelligent workspace management solution to manage and maximize the utilization of group study rooms in its library, which recently underwent a $17 million renovation to make it one of the most high tech libraries on any US college campus.
Bentley will use Resource Scheduler in conjunction with Steelcase’s RoomWizard display technology to enable students to view room scheduling information on line and to book rooms either on site or remotely, at any time—without having to rely on library staff to manage and monitor room scheduling and use.
The new scheduling system is expected to dramatically increase the use of shared study rooms, while enabling Bentley to actually reduce the energy required to heat and cool the rooms. The integrated system will also support environmental conservation by eliminating paper-based scheduling.
