Interspire Unveils New Software for Web-Based Marketers
August 03, 2009
E-commerce software vendor Interspire has unveiled new software aiming to target agencies involved in Web designing, advertising, public relations and marketing firms.
The platform comes with a full suite of email marketing software and services that the agencies can use to widen their clientele by offering free trial accounts to their customers. Using this software, Interspire says, agencies can save thousands of dollars by charging per user, not per email or subscriber.
Austin-based Interspire’s softwares are currently being used by over 22,000 organizations worldwide.
The new software’s applications include personalized campaigns, autoresponders, triggers, split testing, built-in spam checking and Google (News - Alert) calendar integration.
The company says agencies can make the most of it as they can sign up for the service paying nothing upfront, and the pricing is also as low as $7 a month for every client.
“Email marketing works and is the most effective way to create personalized relationships with your clients and customers,” said Mitchell Harper, Interspire’s product marketing manager.
The software runs on the browser and can be installed on an agency’s Web server. Agencies can set up as few as 10 users, and there is no limit to the number of users that can be added, both via the control panel or XML API. There is no “per-email” or sending fees, and agencies pay a small monthly fee per active user – there’s no charge to offer free trial accounts to clients.
The agency edition can be offered to clients in one of two ways, according to Interspire.
“You can also offer them a complete do-it-yourself solution, because it is easy to use, or you can offer a fully managed service where you take care of everything for them,” said Eddie Machaalani, Interspire’s CEO.
