Adecco Launches Contact Center Business in Australia

July 17, 2009
Adecco Australia, an employment and recruitment services company, has announced the launching of its Adecco Contact Center business line in Australia. This new offering will reside under the Adecco Office brand and is a highly specialized business line providing expert HR solutions to the contact center industry.

“We believe the market as a whole is ready to engage a supplier that has a fresh and innovative approach to talent attraction, retention, recruitment and selection,” said Bronwen Fitzroy-Ezzy, Adecco group sales director, in a statement.

In today’s labor market, there is a significant shortage of skilled applicants and more intermediaries. This creates a demand for processes that find and recruit qualified individuals. The Adecco Contact Center business line in Australia offers tailor-made HR services that can enable Adecco Australia to deliver proximity service to both associates and clients.

“At a global and local level, the Adecco Group has a long-standing and successful association with the contact centre industry and the Australian operation is looking to build on the success here in Australia under the new Adecco Contact Centre brand,” Fitzroy-Ezzy said.

With this new business line, Adecco can also concentrate and distribute industry insight, best practice and new initiatives with a planetary oversight to realize optimal economies of scale and leverage its crucial mass to advantage. The professional business lines will complement Adecco Australia’s established business lines in office and industrial services.

Adecco is a respected name in the HR space as it delivers significant value throughout the global industry. In April, the company issued findings from the Adecco Group North America American Workplace Insights Survey. This survey provides insight for those individuals graduating from college in this tough economy and what the market has in store.

Adecco Group North America Chief Executive Tig Gilliam said earlier this year that despite the dismal economy, companies are still hiring. Even certain companies at the center of the economic meltdown have been adding a few employees. Banks especially have been hiring information technology specialists to help integrate companies with increased mergers and acquisitions.

This company offers hope in a global market that has produced little more than negative news on the job front. Experienced, educated and skilled individuals need to know that there are quality jobs available. At the same time, those companies hiring need access to these applicants. Adecco is providing a key resource for both parties, offering a valuable medium in which to channel opportunities to the right individuals.
