Customer Connect, Microsoft Announce Training Help
By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Customer Connect Associates has announced that its next “Success Accelerators” Webinar will show students how to use Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM 4.0 and Microsoft SharePoint.
“We’re going to show people how CRM and SharePoint deliver a flexible platform that can be used to significantly reduce costs involved in developing and maintaining custom applications,” explains Customer Connect CEO Geoff Ables. “In addition, they will learn how SharePoint can combine with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to enhance employee, vendor, distributor, partner and supplier relationships.”
In February, TMC's Tim Gray reported that Customer Connect launched a new Web site dedicated to publishing recorded demonstrations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The site, www.demomicrosoftcrm.com, features "prerecorded demos of the popular CRM tool for individuals who are interested in a self-serve presentation of the software," Gray cites Geoff Ables as saying.
“We’ve had such a tremendous upsurge in requests for demos that we just can’t accommodate all of them,” said Ables.
As Gray notes, "CRM is the processes used to track and organize company contacts with current and prospective customers. CRM software is used to support these processes; information about customers and customer interactions can be entered, stored and accessed by employees in different company departments. The idea is to improve services to customers and to use customer contact information for targeted marketing."
“The demand for training on CRM software is just unprecedented. We want to be able to help and serve everybody, which this Web site will help us to do,” said Ables.
