Chrysalis Software, a company offering contact center professional services and products, has recently been awarded with State of California Green Business Certification.
The company officials said that they won the Green Business certificate by the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Programand theState of Californiafor complying with all regulations and program standards of a California Green Business.
"Chrysalisis proud to be part of this partnership of environmental agencies and concerned businesses working together to promote the operation of companies in an environmentally friendly manner," said Debbie Diersch, president and CEO of Chrysalis Software. "During the next year, we have pledged to save over 2,827 gallons of water and divert 309 lbs of waste from the landfill by implementing changes outlined in our newly adopted Environmental Policy."
The Green Business Certification Program was initiated a few years back with an aim to prevent pollution and encourage businesses to meet (and exceed) environmental standardsm, while conserving natural resources.
Chrysalis Software officials said that they won the "green" certification for following all the rules and regulations and meeting program standards for conserving resources, preventing pollution, and minimizing waste.
"Monterey County's Environmental Health Bureau, Recycling Services administers the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program in Monterey County in partnership with the City of Monterey and other environmental organizations. We are proud of all our green businesses," says Gabby Carbajal, registered environmental health specialist, Monterey County Health Department.
Gabby Carbajal pointed out that a certified green business demonstrates ongoing environmental compliance and voluntarily implements of pollution prevention, recycling and solid waste reduction, and energy and water conservation practices in the workplace.
Chrysalis has been a role model to many businesses and encouraging others to conserve energy and water, minimize waste, prevent pollution and shrink their carbon footprint.
