Aria, MATRIXX Software Join to Launch Real-Time Rating and Billing Solution for CSPs

Aria (News - Alert) Systems and MATRIXX Software, a developer of online charging and subscriber policy management solutions, entered into a new partnership and announced the release of a cloud-deployed real-time rating and billing solution for Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and their enterprise customers.

According to Aria, a provider of subscription billing and management solutions, this new solution offers dynamic spend controls which will help enterprises to manage increasing data costs owing to increased mobile device usage among employees.

In a release Dave Labuda, CEO at MATRIXX said, “The explosive data traffic increase from enterprise smartphones and tablets mandates the need for a hosted real-time rating, charging and billing solution that controls skyrocketing costs.”

“Our enterprise spend control service, coupled with the Aria Platform, provides CSPs faster time to market, lower operating costs and greater billing flexibility to meet enterprise customer demands,” Labuda added.

Stratecast research reveals that a majority of CSPs write off $20 – $25 million every month in view of their enterprise customers, incurring bill shock from mobile device overage charges. Most CSPs added that their enterprise customers have requested for better spend controls, real-time visibility and more predictable monthly bills.

It was revealed that MATRIXX Software was the first partner to join the new Aria Systems Alliance Program that provides technical, marketing and sales support for innovative new applications on the Aria Subscription Billing and Management Platform.

Mike Morini, CEO of Aria Systems, said, “The Aria Alliance Program is open to innovative companies like MATRIXX Software so they can combine their vertical expertise and technology with the Aria Subscription Billing and Management Platform. These new applications, combined with our enterprise class platform, will power innovative recurring revenue businesses across industries around the globe.”

Aria released four software development kits (SDKs) for the Aria Subscription Billing and Management Platform, available to Alliance Program partners.

Recently Aria Systems announced that Pitney Bowes has deployed Aria Platform Enterprise Edition to automate recurring revenues for a new initiative targeting global small and mid-sized businesses.
