Customer Interaction Solutions Honors SugarCRM With 'Product of the Year'
Technology Marketing Corporation’s Customer Interaction Solutions magazine awarded SugarCRM’s Sugar 6 with a 2010 Product of the Year Award.
Since 1982, TMC’s (News - Alert) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine has been the premier publication covering CRM, call centers and teleservices.
Businesses around the world, through SugarCRM’s (News - Alert) open source model, are able to avoid the disadvantages associated with proprietary software by allowing customers full access to the software’s source code and giving businesses total flexibility with unlimited customization and integration capabilities. The users, with the help of Sugar 6, are provided with the ability to view and consume data and applications from nearly any source. At the same time, they can also quickly and easily leverage information from social networks and data services, such as Twitter, LinkedIn (News - Alert) and Hoover’s, right inside the user interface.
“SugarCRM is excited to be recognized by Customer Interaction Solutions magazine as a Product of the Year Award winner,” said Larry Augustin, chief executive officer of SugarCRM, in a press release. “We are dedicated to an open-source approach and providing our customers with a product that is built on flexibility and customization. The receipt of this award reinforces our position as the fastest growing customer relationship management company in the world.”
“SugarCRM was granted a 2010 Product of the Year Award for its achievement in advancing contact center technologies. Sugar 6 has demonstrated excellence as well as provided ROI for the companies that use it,” said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO of TMC, in a press release. “Customer Interaction Solutions magazine has been honoring innovative companies for 13 years and SugarCRM has earned its place with this distinguished honor.”
In related news, Contivio.com, the world's premier provider of SaaS (News
- Alert) contact center and telephony solutions, has joined SugarCRM's growing OEM Partner program. According to this agreement, Contivio.com will embed SugarCRM Professional into its cloud platform and sell the solution as a bundled offering.
