SLMA Reveals List of 50 Most Influential People in Lead Generation

Management control is an important aspect of salespersons performance with in an organization. In the current economic situation it is seen that the business-to-business sales role is changing into relationship management.

In a statement, James W. Obermayer, CEO and executive director of the Sales Lead Management Association, declared the results of the voting for the Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management in 2010.

Obermayer said that the winning 50 men and women are creators of wealth and the voters have recognized their contributions in this increasingly important field of managing sales leads.

In a press release, Susan Campanale, vice president of Marketing for the SLMA, said that the SLMA has assumed the cheerleader’s role in promoting the importance of all facets of managing sales leads and these people are recognized by their peers as extreme players in the pursuit of ROI for marketing expenditures.

The mission of the Sales Lead Management Association is to help companies become successful in the critical business process of managing sales leads. The list of the Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management in 2010 follows in the order of most votes received. The Top Ten vote recipients are: Mac McIntosh – Mac McIntosh, Inc., Carlos Hidalgo – The Annuitas Group, Jay Hidalgo – The Annuitas Group, Jenny Vance – LeadJen, Steve Woods – Eloqua (News - Alert), Scott Zimmerman – The Cyrano Group, Lisa Cramer – LeadLife Solutions, Joseph Payne – Eloqua, Cliff Langston –Leads to Sales and Russell Kern - The Kern Organization.

The entire list of 50 winners is available for viewing on the SLMA site. The SLMA served as the independent tabulator of votes and does not endorse the services of those listed. Only SLMA members may nominate people to the nominees list. Non-members and members may cast one ballot with up to three non-duplicated votes. Nominations for the 2011 list will be accepted on Oct. 1, 2011.
