ProcessMaker, OrangeHRM Integrate Open Source Solutions
According to research by both ProcessMaker and OrangeHRM, a large number of clients have requested the kind of solution that this alliance will bring to the market. Through this partnership, both the companies look at offering high benefits to clients from both companies by extending both open source solutions with additional functionality.
"Our goal is to give our users the freedom of having the HR processes (workflow) they wish instead of adopting their processes to the software," said Sujee Saparamdu, co-founder and chief executive officer at OrangeHRM, in a statement. "We explored many alternatives to deliver a greatly customizable product and concluded that ProcessMaker was by far the best. By partnering with ProcessMaker, we have the opportunity to add value to OrangeHRM by integrating with one of the best workflow software products on the market. Both products being open source also give us a strong bond in forging this partnership.”
A company statement also clarified that during the first phase of the alliance, the two companies will be working with a few targeted companies to integrate the two products based on documented needs within these case study clients. The companies expect to have multiple pilot implementations of the integrated solution in the market by the end of 1Q 2011.
"As ProcessMaker implementations continue to grow around the world, we see many clients creating custom workflows related to HR such as New Employee On-Boarding, Absence Request Management, Certifications Management, Evaluation and Promotion Management, and much more," said Brian Reale, co-founder and chief executive officer at ProcessMaker, in a statement. "By partnering with a leading solution like OrangHRM, we will be able to better serve the needs of our clients as they seek to integrate these processes into an HR system.”
