Atos Origin Partners with Prime Technologies
Atos Origin has partnered with Prime Technologies, Inc. to deliver solutions based on the calibration management software, ProCalV5. This software solution is delivered in a customer premise format and also in a Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model
The partnership between the two companies is expected to bring standard integration to client's SAP (News - Alert) environments in the MES space.
Atos Origin specializes in integrating standardized software packages with globally deployed SAP software. For this project, Atos Origin is leveraging the domain expertise of Prime Technologies, to help companies to meet compliance and regulatory needs for quality management and instrumentation calibration.
ProCalV5 helps companies at a corporate Quality Assurance level be compliant with regulatory bodies such as the FDA and OSHA and NRC. The companies note that ProCalV5 was the first calibration management software solution to be 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.
This compliancy is needed for organizatons that manufacture products and receive regular quality audits from the FDA.
According to Sergio Banuet, vice president of Channel Relations and Business Development in Atos Origin North America, his company wants clients to know that they have a thorough understanding of how their businesses operate and what is important to their growth and success.
This partnership will enable Atos to offer market specific solutions around Quality, Calibration and Compliance and this in turn allows customers to get a higher return on investment and significant costs savings when it comes to regulatory compliance.
Joseph Roman, director of Business Development at Prime Technologies said that bringing Atos Origin on as a strategic partner allows them to proactively present a solution to companies that need real time, global service, support, and integration services.
“This alliance gives Atos Origin the domain expertise in key markets for SAP as well as delivery of MES solutions,” said Chuck Stahl, director of Business Development for SAP Integrations at Atos Origin. “We will provide substantial value to clients across Manufacturing, Power and Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage and Consumer Products.”
