Pharmaceutical Company Picks Veeva for CRM
A top pharmaceutical company has selected Veeva Systems’ multi-tenant SaaS (News - Alert) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution.
After a comprehensive 3-month review and selection process, the global company with approximately $2 billion in revenues chose Veeva’s complete CRM suite, including VBioPharma, VInsights, and VMobile Tablet Edition.
According to company officials, in Q4, 450 users will go live and the company expects to tap into the Veeva Web network of application partners.
Prior to Veeva CRM, the pharmaceutical company had been using an early-generation client/server SFA system that was no longer being fully supported by its vendor.
The system had reached the end of its life and was no longer being enhanced and the company needed better functionality, increased speed, and flexibility to support a new sales force structure.
Company officials said that before choosing Veeva CRM, the company trialed two different offerings.
Field users, however, overwhelmingly agreed that Veeva’s platform was the more user-friendly in terms of navigation, functionality, and integrating formulary and other data from other sources.
Management of the pharma company also appreciated the ability to make changes to the system as needed and without downtime.
