Learning House Opens Registration for Connect 2013 Online Education Conference
LOUISVILLE, KY, Feb 05, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
The fifth annual Connect conference, presented by Learning House,
will bring industry experts and institutions together to discuss the
future of online higher education. The conference, held in
Louisville, Ky., on June 26 and 27, will have sessions for all
aspects of online higher education, including administration,
marketing and enrollment, instruction and more.
An all-star cast of speakers will present, including Dr. Arthur F.
Kirk, Jr., president of Saint Leo University, a pioneer in online
education; Richard Garrett, vice president and principal analyst of
online higher education at research firm Eduventures, Inc.; Russell
Poulin, deputy director of research and analysis, for education
cooperative WCET; Dr. Robbie K. Melton, associate vice chancellor of
eLearning and emerging mobilization technology at the Tennessee Board
of Regents; and Jonathan Grayer, chairman and CEO of investment
capital firm Weld North, and former chairman and CEO of Kaplan, Inc.
In addition, the full version of the critically acclaimed annual
research report conducted by Learning House and Aslanian Market
Research will be released. The "Online College Students 2013" report
will not only discuss who is learning online and why, but also will
delve into what technologies are preferred and the influence of MOOCs
on online higher education.
